Caravaggio in Amsterdam
Caravaggio and Rembrandt at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
Some things are worth waiting. Waiting for Caravaggio was one of those things. Knowing all the time about the master, seen one or two of its paintings around the world. Read the books, all those things just a prelude.
And then a confrontation with genius, madness, light, people, faith, compassion.
And of course, Rembrandt next to that.
